Airbase Georgia has rescheduled Aviation Futures Week, including the RISE ABOVE traveling exhibit and Aviation Futures Day, from November 2026 to spring 2027. The program is tentatively planned for March or April, with specific dates expected to be determined in the coming weeks.
The change follows discussions with education partners and gives schools additional time to promote the opportunity, identify interested students, and coordinate participation.
Aviation Futures Week connects aviation history with career exploration. The RISE ABOVE exhibit shares the stories of the Tuskegee Airmen and Women Airforce Service Pilots. Aviation Futures Day brings together aviation employers, educational institutions, and industry professionals to help high school students explore careers in flight operations, aircraft maintenance, engineering, aviation services, and related fields.
