Public visiting days for the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Airbase Georgia are being changed, effective Sept. 21, to improve convenience for guests. The new schedule is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. the first Sunday of each month. Docent tours begin at 10 a.m. Admission is free.
The previous schedule was Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday each week.
“We are an all-volunteer organization, which includes our museum docents,” said Airbase Leader Mark Richards. “This new schedule will provide the same number of visitor days, plus the extra Sunday afternoon each month. Airbase Georgia will provide the same quality tours and make visits more convenient for weekend travelers.”
